Exercises 17 and 18: Salgado and Meadows

Details of the reading and research for this exercise are recorded in my written log - suffice it to sayt I am not a great fan of Salgado who's work seems a little over-aesthetic. His more recent Genesis project also shows quite surprising naivety in its treatment of some cultures.
